Government Girls Polytechnic is a government institute run by government of Uttar Pradesh. Govt. girls polytechnic Varanasi is established in academic year 1990-91. Inauguration of main building was held by honourable Dr. Narendra Kumar Singh Gaur, Minister, Technical Education UP and in chairmanship of honourable shri Shankar Prasad jaiswal member of parliament Varanasi on 31st January 1999. This institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi & affiliated to Board of technical education UP Lucknow. It is only institute for girls in Varanasi. Govt. Girls Polytechnic is committed to provide quality education to the students & enabling them to excel in the field of engineering to cater to the changing & challenging needs of society and industry by contributing to the academic standing and overall knowledge development of the students.
